Italy 2008!
I jetted off to Italy for a short and sweet holiday this february. Considering the fact that Italy is alot closer to the equator than the UK, it was surprising to find it much colder than here at home. I sampled the delights of the Trenitalia FS train network and visited Turin, Bologna and Florence all in three days. Needless to say, there was lots to see as the following photos will prove. Despite the icelandic temperatures and being pickpocketed by a pikey, it was a fantastic holiday.
(Clito) [Turin]

(Vips) [Turin]
(Auser) [Florence]
(Bongo) [Florence] Up all over Florences tracks and trains.
(Fra32) [Florence] Seriously up around Pisa. Check the next part of the blog for more.
Every train front and back looked like this.
(Syden, Fra32 & ULV crew) [Florence] There is no better feeling than turning around to see a panelled train roll into the station. New York Stylee.
(Rima & Rule) [florence] Massive panels that I saw twice on two seperate days.
(Meks) [Florence]
(Gryns) [Florence]
(Zago) [Florence] This panel was almost like it was a wall piece. Seriously detailed and intricate.
(Sera) [Florence] This panel rolled in literally seconds after the sun came out.
(Pevs & Ans) [Turin] A little sneak preview of the next post to come. Streets.

word man, nice italy flex you have here. HAve you been to Berlin, just got back from there yesterday and if you havent been you would love it. The graffins is everywhere, though there is a lot, and i mean a lot of crap, but some running trains, loadsa rooftops and plenty of pic opportunites. Plus the best food i have ever eaten on a trip (none of it german though) and its cheap. Reach if you can, word DD.
