Posted in art, brighton, europe, graffiti with tags brighton, gallery, graff, graffiti, heavy artillery on November 8, 2009 by HiveI finally got a chance to see the Heavy Artillery HAters Exhibition at Prescription Art. All the work on display was, as to be expected, top notch with works from Aroe, Gary, Gyroe, Roid, Odisy, Storm, Gebes, Insa and some others. Here is a selection of photos from the ground floor and the first floor but unfortunately i didn’t have a chance to see the basement.

The above canvas is by Deuce 7 who is one of my favorite artists so it was really cool to see this in person!
The show was great featuring loads of top work from the HA crew and some other interesting works by a big selection of other artists. There was also a documentary screening of ‘The Story of Three Storeys’ by Tim Day. It was about the painting of one of the Kensington Street murals (James Brown, Alphabet Soup etc.). It featured plenty of interviews with the artists and was a really good watch.
