I finally got a chance to see the Heavy Artillery HAters Exhibition at Prescription Art. All the work on display was, as to be expected, top notch with works from Aroe, Gary, Gyroe, Roid, Odisy, Storm, Gebes, Insa and some others. Here is a selection of photos from the ground floor and the first floor but unfortunately i didn’t have a chance to see the basement.

The above canvas is by Deuce 7 who is one of my favorite artists so it was really cool to see this in person!

The show was great featuring loads of top work from the HA crew and some other interesting works by a big selection of other artists. There was also a documentary screening of ‘The Story of Three Storeys’ by Tim Day. It was about the painting of one of the Kensington Street murals (James Brown, Alphabet Soup etc.). It featured plenty of interviews with the artists and was a really good watch.

Running steel on a First Capitol Connect train. Wow! It was both bloody lucky and a serious coincidence that the seat I happened to sit in was the one that had the painted windows across from it.

…and there it is! When reading online reviews of Prague before coming, I kept hearing peoples complaints about the amount of Graff on the city walls. The ‘in your face’ tagging and throws right in the centre. This of course made for even more of a reason to visit. Here is a very small (Emphasis on the very) amount of Prague’s bombing scene, but perhaps a good set of examples. One of the most notable writers was Post who almost had his throw on the backs of all the tourists he was up so much. Also, Huge, Oner, Tron, ISK Crew, Blunk, Tager, Super, KNS Crew, Perry, Dize, PMC Crew, Tribe, Bros, Ske, Hanes, Caps, Epos, Bonus & Das to name but a few more. Prague is a sick sick city and id definitely recommend a visit some time!
